Knepper Seeks Ayr Township Tax Collector Post
Ayr Township resident Jennifer L. Knepper formally announced last week her intention to seek the office of Ayr Township tax collector.
Knepper, who is one of three Republican candidates on the May 19 ballot, is currently employed as a teller at the Waterfall branch of Community State Bank of Orbisonia. She serves in the capacity of secretary for the Cito United Methodist Church and is also a member of the church, the Fulton County Farm Women and the Auxiliary Group of Gideon International.
In preparation for her decision to run for office, Knepper also completed and passed testing related to the AARP tax course.
She is the wife of area auctioneer Craig Knepper and mother of four, Reuben, Cody, Taylor and Michaela.
In addition to being on the Republican ballot during the spring primary, she will also be accepting write-in votes from registered Democrats.
