Wilda Drake is recovering from a surgery recently performed in Harrisburg. Junior and Wilda's daughter, Judy Bowser of York, has been visiting with her parents and helping out.

Brian and Emily Ramsey had lunch with Roger and Pat Ramsey on Sunday. >Ronnie and Nancy Horne visited in the afternoon.

Visiting with Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger this week were Dan Jenakovich, Nook and Janet Brown, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Travis Madden, Nora Grissinger, Bob and Alicia Albrecht, and Travis and Tonya Hall (20 month-old Tristen was visiting with grandparents).

Tammy Grissinger visited with Matt, Emily and Mason Mentzer in Aspers this weekend.

On Saturday evening, Steve and Karen Grissinger enjoyed dinner with Mike, Patty, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi and Marty and Denise Sinkiewicz and Sophie.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff and Chuck Streightiff visited with Tim Streightiff in Washington, D.C., this weekend and did some sightseeing.

Andy, Tasha, Shaine and Kean Goshorn, Buzz and Bea Covert, and Fred and Sharon Horne celebrated Travis Madden's birthday on Saturday evening with a game of bowling at Holiday Bowl in Mill Creek.

Auctioneer Lyle Reed of Mc- Connellsburg will be holding a sale for Sam Park at the old Maddensville Schoolhouse on Good Friday. The sale begins at 9 a.m.

George Locke's beagle, Roscoe, has been missing for a couple of days. If you see him, please give George a call. Roscoe is a straight-leg beagle with the tri-color markings.

Spring is definitely closer than we were thinking. Baby animals have been making their arrivals known and some bear sightings are being talked about.

Immanuel Bible Church will be holding its annual Spring Roundup event on Sunday, April 26 (raindate May 3). The event will be held at the U R Ok Corral at Immanuel Bible Church at 22054 Starr Road, Three Springs. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. with games, covered-dish meal at 5:45 p.m. and at 6:30 p.m. special music will be provided by the Aughwick Band. Everyone is welcome to attend please bring a lawn chair and a covered dish for the cowboy type picnic.

On Sunday, March 29, Renee Martin will be the guest speaker at Immanuel Bible Church. On Saturday, March 28, a "Simply Beautiful" event is being held at Immanuel from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Renee as guest speaker.

The Dixie Melody Boys will be at the Immanuel Bible Church on April 3, beginning at 7 p.m.

The Three Springs Fire Co. will be hosting a turkey dinner on March 29 beginning at 11 a.m.

Hustontown Volunteer Fire Company is hosting a Big Bingo Bonanza on April 26. Doors will open at noon. Shooting matches will continue to be held at the firehall until mid-April. The matches begin at 1 p.m.
