Guitar Club Concert Southern Fulton Guitar Club is holding its third annual concert on Friday, April 3. The concert is held once a year, with all proceeds going toward the club.

Egg Hunt McConnellsburg Lions Club Easter egg hunt will be held April 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Lions Club Park.

Egg Hunt An Easter egg hunt will be held at Walnut Grove Church of God on Good Friday. It will be held at the church building on Wible Reunion Road in Three Springs on April 10 at 4:00 p.m. Ages 1-13 years old are welcome to come join in for an Easter story, some games, egg hunt and snacks. All are also invited to join on Sundays for Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and worship service at 10:30 a.m. and prayer meetings on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.

Niagara Falls Trip Modern Woodmen of America Camp 7948 is sponsoring a bus trip to Niagara Falls, Canada, on Saturday, May 16. Each person will need only a birth certificate and state ID for entrance into Canada for this trip. Effective June 1, 2009, a passport will be needed and this will be the last trip before this requirement. Cost for the trip is $55 for adults and children. The bus departs from McConnellsburg Courthouse at 5:00 a.m., with stops in Mt. Union and Huntingdon. Estimated return time is 1:00 a.m. in McConnellsburg. X Card Shoot Fulton County Rifle and Pistol Club is having a special X card shoot every Friday night at 7:00 p.m. during the month of April. Eleven regular rounds for 12 and 20 gauge (ammo supplied) and two .410 outlaw rounds (no ammo supplied). Prizes are gift certificates to Keystone Country Store. There is a gun bowl and the kitchen is open.

PA-R-PAC Bus Trip PA-R-PAC will be hosting a bus trip to Landover, Md., to the National Air Show located at Andrews Air Force Base on Sunday, May 17. Featured will be the Thunderbirds. The day will be spent on the Air Force runway getting close to planes and watching them put on a wonderful show. The bus will leave the McConnellsburg American Legion at 7:00 a.m. and will return around 8:00 p.m. A stop will be made in Frederick for breakfast as well as dinner on the way home. Golf Tournament The ARC of Franklin and Fulton counties will host its annual golf tournament on Friday, May 1, at Whitetail Golf Resort. Registration starts at noon with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. More information may be obtained by calling 717-264-4390 or at arc4390@embarqmail.com.

Line Dance Fulton County Line Dance Club will hold line dance sessions every Wednesday (except the first Wednesday of the month) beginning at 7:00 p.m. at VFW Post 655, Poplar Street, McConnellsburg. All are welcome. Come and learn some new steps. A $2 donation is appreciated.

Senior Center Activities McConnellsburg Senior Center activities for the month are as follows: nickel bingo, 10:00 a.m. - April 1, 3, 6, 8, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24 and 27; April 2, 10:30 a.m. - KFC Chambersburg for lunch; blood pressure screening, 11:00 a.m. - April 2; April 8, noon - Easter dinner; April 10 - closed; April 15, 7:00 a.m. - Belleville trip; April 16, 11:00 a.m. - prescription drug and alcohol program; 1:00 p.m. - nutrition/ craft class; April 23, 9:00 a.m. - Chambersburg shopping; April 29, 7:00 a.m. - Belleville trip; 10:00 a.m. - dime bingo.

Youth Day Hunters Helping Kids will be hosting a youth day June 20 at Fulton County Pistol and Rifle Club, starting at 8:30 a.m. Children from ages 5 and above are welcome to learn and shoot rifle, crossbow, shotgun, etc. Forestry and wildlife walks, food and games will also be held. Bus Trip Modern Woodmen of America Camp 7948 is sponsoring a bus trip to New York City on Saturday, May 9. The bus departs from the McConnellsburg Courthouse at 6:00 a.m. A stop will be made for breakfast at approximately 8:30 a.m. and will arrive in New York City near Macy's at approximately 11:30 a.m. The bus will depart near the Times Square area at 6:30 p.m. A stop will be made halfway home for supper. FR Easter Egg Hunt The Forbes Road Lions Club Easter egg hunt will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, at Lions Park, conditions permitting. In case of inclement weather or muddy grounds, the event will take place in the high school gym. Eggs, candy and special prizes for toddlers thru 12 years olds. Raffle tickets are now on sale to support the Easter egg hunt and other Lions Club projects.

HAFCO Shooting Matches Hustontown Fire Co. will hold a 410 shoot March 28.

Practice Trap Shoots Fulton County Rifle and Pistol Club wishes to invite the public to join in or practice trap shoots every Friday night starting Good Friday, April 10, until November 20 and trap shoots at noon the third Sunday of every month from now until the end of the year.

Sight And Sound Trip Sideling Hill Parish of the United Methodist Church is sponsoring a bus trip Wednesday, April 8, to see "Behold The Lamb." The bus will depart from Knobsville United Methodist Church at 8:00 a.m. More information may be obtained by calling 717-987-3215.

Gym Time McConnellsburg Alumni and Friends Association will be sponsoring free gym time in the old MHS gym on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from noon to 2:00 p.m., for anyone who would like to walk, workout, play some basketball, volleyball, table tennis, etc. The gym will be open every Monday and Wednesday and follow the Central Fulton School schedule.
