Wilson College To Host Arts Day
An exciting, educational, funfilled day of free events that encourages everyone to appreciate and celebrate interdisciplinary arts will be held Wednesday, April 1, on the Wilson College campus at 1015 Philadelphia Ave., Chambersburg.
Arts Day, which is sponsored by Wilson's Department of Fine Arts and Dance, features scheduled presentations and performances as well as day-long events and exhibitions. All events are open to the public.
Wilson's drama club, Kittochtinny Players, will present two one-act plays from 4 to 5 p.m. in Thomson Hall's Alumnae Chapel. Written by Wilson Adjunct Assistant Professor of English Diane Morgan, "Snakepit" unveils what really happened in the Garden of Eden. "The Jest," written by Wilson Assistant Professor of English Michael G. Cornelius, reveals that "someone is playing a joke on Annabelle … and she may be scared to death." Admittance is free, but donations will be gladly accepted to defray costs of the production.
A schedule of events will be available online. For more information 717-264-4141, Ext. 3305, or visit the Wilson College Web site at www.wilson.edu.
