James E. Camp
James E. Camp, 62, Waterfall, died Sunday morning, March 15, 2009, at his home. His death was unexpected.
Born January 30, 1947, at Goma, Zaire, he was the son of the late Earl and Ida (Stette) Camp. He was married to the former Judith Ann Fry on September 23, 1972. She survives at their home.
Also surviving are his stepmother, Edna Camp, Voorhees, N.J.; children: Jason Camp and wife Laura, Cherry Hill, N.J.; Rebecca Cech and husband Jeff, Pittsburgh; Jonathan Camp, Pittsburgh; and an adopted son, Nizeyimana Sebushare, and wife Clementine of the Democratic Republci of Congo; four grandchildren: Abriella Camp, Aaralyn Camp, Elizabeth Sebushare and Baraka Jimmy Sebushare; four sisters: Jean Camp, Palymra, Pa.; Joanne Wentzell, Gibbsboro, N.J.; Judy Armacost, Tazmania; and Janice Bortner, Glenville, Pa.
He was a member of Center United Methodist Church, Waterfall.
He was a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. He served on medical missions to Africa from 1982 to 1990. He was currently employed as a nurse anesthetist at Fulton County Medical Center and at War Memorial Hospital, Berkeley Springs, as an independent contractor. As a hobby, he was also a computer expert.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving with the Special Forces as a Green Beret medic.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 20, at Knobsville United Methodist Church. Pastor Michael Baumgardner will officiate.
