Pa. Woman, 73, Dies After Early Morning Home Fire
HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - A 73-year-old woman is dead in a fire in Pennsylvania's capital of Harrisburg.
Fire crews say they found Janice Wayne in a first floor bedroom of her home just after midnight Monday and took her to a hospital, but she later died.
Acting Fire Chief Dan Soulier says the fire appears to have started in the kitchen. He says flames were pouring from the back of the duplex when fire crews arrived.
One firefighter was treated and released from Harrisburg Hospital for a burn on his arm.
The cause of the fire was not immediately determined.
