Approximately $1,100 in cash as well as various credit and gift cards, a brown wallet and a Longaberger cigarette holder were stolen from the 655 East Maple Street, McConnellsburg, home of 51-year-old Carolyn Marie Spoonire between 4 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10. Tractor-Trailer Strikes Guiderail
A 2006 International Harvester tractor-trailer collided with a guiderail along Route 30 just west of the Franklin County line on Tuesday, March 10. The tractor-trailer was towed from the Ayr Township accident scene by LaSalles Towing. Driver Javarious Lee, 28, of Atlanta, Ga., was wearing a seat belt and escaped injury in the 6:18 p.m. crash. Lee will be cited by state police for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Uniontown Men Cited For Harassment
Uniontown, Pa., resident Wesley Brian Gaigler, 46, and 33-yearold Lonnie J. Miller were cited for harassment after they allegedly contacted Tammy Sue Gibbs, 30, of Needmore, by telephone several times on Wednesday, March 11. Gibbs had previously told them to stop calling her.
Fort Littleton Man Jailed
Eighteen-year-old Fort Littleton resident Levi Bisser was sent to the Franklin County Prison last Tuesday in lieu of $25,000 straight bail following arraignment on charges of access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking, theft by deception and unsworn falsification to authorities. Bisser allegedly withdrew money from a bank account at F&M Trust in Hustontown belonging to Bobbie Grubb, 33, of Hustontown. Bisser used Grubb's credit card to take the money between February 15 and February 25.
Two Cited Following Altercation
Craig DeShong, 41, of Greencastle and a 16-year-old Six Mile Run boy were cited for harassment in connection with a verbal fight that turned physical on Wednesday, March 11, at 3:12 p.m. Charges against both individuals for the incident at 3038 Buck Road, Harrisonville, were filed through Magisterial District Judge Devin Horne.
Fort Littleton Man Charged With Possessing Stolen Coins
Levi Bisser of Fort Littleton was charged with receiving stolen property after state police recently determined he possessed various denominations of collector coins and coin sets. State police alleged that Bisser knew the coins had been stolen.
A cat owned by Eliza Jane Rubeck, 56, of McConnellsburg suffered a shotgun wound at 655 Knobsville Road in Todd Township between 12:01 a.m. on March 6 and 11:59 p.m. on March 8. State police investigated a suicide that occurred at 1115 Martin Road, Needmore, during the late evening hours on Wednesday, March 11. Fulton County Coroner Darryl Heckman pronounced 82-year-old Howard Joseph Martin dead at his Belfast Township home. Cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound. State police and the coroner's office were assisted on the scene by members of the Needmore Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Co.
Dogs Fight Inside Truck
Two dogs fighting inside a truck distracted the driver and caused a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Sipes Mill and Cool Hollow roads. According to state police, Noreen Kuhlwind, 48, of McConnellsburg reached into the back seat to separate the two animals when her Chevrolet Silverado travelled off the Belfast Township roadway last Tuesday evening. The truck went over an embankment and struck a tree. Kuhlwind was using a seat belt and was not harmed.
Police Search For Escaped Teen
A 16-year-old girl escaped from the girls' ranch at 444 Plessinger Road in Brush Creek Township on Thursday, March 12, after jumping out the window of her room at 1 a.m. Dainara Guzman was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and blue jeans and is five feet tall and weighs approximately 105 pounds. Guzman has family ties in the Harrisburg area and may have fled to that area. Charges against Guzman are currently pending in juvenile court.

Truck Window Smashed
The left rear window of a 1998 Toyota Tacoma belonging to 21- year-old Warfordsburg resident Elisha Seth Ensor was broken between 7 a.m. on February 24 and 5:55 p.m. on March 2. The truck was parked at 168 Black Oak Road in Thompson Township when the mischief occurred.

One Charged With Trespassing
Twenty-eight-year-old Mc- Connellsburg resident Crystal Hensley was charged with criminal trespassing following an incident at 526 Lincoln Way East, McConnellsburg, on Wednesday, March 11. Hensley allegedly refused to leave the home of Laura Glee, 37, also of McConnellsburg, at 8:45 p.m. Charges against Hensley were filed through Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott.
Man Jailed For False Reports
Forty-one-year-old William Garland Crawley of Warfordsburg was arrested and remanded to the Franklin County Prison on Sunday, March 8. During a 7:25 p.m. stop for a traffic violation along Buck Valley Road near the intersection of Quarry Hill Road, Crawley provided state police with false identification.
Fort Littleton resident Mark Mellott told state police burglars entered his residence along Sheepskin Hollow Road in Dublin Township and stole more than $1,800 in U.S. collector coins between September 1, 2008, and February 28, 2009. State police are continuing to investigate possible suspects.
Charges Pending In Mischief
Charges are currently pending against Jim Bachman, 22, of Harrisonville in connection with an incident at a Circle Lane, Licking Creek Township, residence. Bachman allegedly punched several holes in the walls of the home and broke a telephone. Due to the case involving domestic violence, state police withheld the name of the 48-year-old female victim as per state police regulations.
Crystal Spring Man Victim Of Theft By Deception
A Crystal Spring man informed state police he was recently contacted by telephone and told he was the winner of a Jamaican sweepstakes. Victim Oscar Emmanuel Shaffer, 70, sent money to cover the taxes on his winnings but never received the prize.
Blairs Mills Man Arrested For DUI
Twenty-six-year-old Derek Lee Devlin of Blairs Mills was arrested by McConnellsburg state police for driving under the influence of cocaine in connection with a traffic stop at the intersection of Fannettsburg and Locke roads in Dublin Township, Huntingdon County. The traffic stop for multiple vehicle violations occurred on Sunday, March 15, at 12:48 a.m.
DUI Arrest Made In Borough
State police at the McConnellsburg barracks made a traffic stop for an equipment violation that resulted in the drivingunder the-influence arrest of Rick Stahl, 37, of Mercersburg. Stahl was stopped along Lincoln Way East in McConnellsburg at 1:38 a.m. on Saturday, March 14.
Burglars Pick Lock
State police did not say if any items were taken during a Friday, March 13, burglary at 806 East Poplar Street, McConnellsburg, but did note that the burglars entered the home of 62-year-old Sharon Eichelberger between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. by picking open a front door lock with a piece of wire. Teen Accused Of Retail Theft
A 13-year-old McConnellsburg boy has been cited for retail theft through Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott in conjunction with an incident at Sheetz convenience store in Mc- Connellsburg Borough. The teen was observed by a patron placing several items valued at $2.98 in his pocket without paying. The patron notified a trooper in the store, and the teen was found outside the store.
Harassment Charges Filed
Charges of harassment have been filed this week against Cristy Marie Marshall, 26, of McConnellsburg. Marshall, state police reported, allegedly punched Crystal Leigh Rogers, 22, also of McConnellsburg, outside the Cardinal Glenn Apartments on Monday, March 16. In addition, Marshall is accused of pushing the other woman to the ground and kicking her several times during the 1:30 p.m. incident.
Car Collides With Guiderailstowed from an accident scene along the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 on Monday, March 16, according to state police. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Lakewood Towing after the 5:02 p.m. crash in Brush Creek Township.
Driver Andrew E. Taslitz, 52, of Reston, Va., will be charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic in conjunction with his vehicle colliding with a set of guide-rails. Taslitz was wearing a seat belt and was not harmed.
Needmore resident Joshua Eugene Jones, 28, will face charges of violating a protection from-abuse order after he allegedly mailed letters from the Franklin County Prison to Melissa Robinson, 30, also of Needmore. The violation reportedly occurred on Thursday, March 12.
