Alois Meixner, 83, Hustontown, died Monday, March 2, 2009, at Fulton County Medical Center.
He was the husband for 59 years of Anna Meixner.
Born in Germany on April 2, 1925, he was a crafted upholsterer, having worked for Black's Upholstery and Stitley Upholstery before going into business for himself.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons: Karl Meixner, Tennessee; James Meixner, Mc- Connellsburg; and John Steven Meixner, Hustontown; his daughter, Linda Jones, Waynesboro; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
He was the last member of his immediate family,
He was preceded in death by a son, Horst Meixner, and a grandson, John Christopher Meixner.
Graveside services were held Friday, March 6, at 11:00 a.m., at Blue Ridge Cemetery. Rev. Lloyd Fuss officiated.
Stauffer Funeral Home, Thurmont, Md., was in charge of arrangements.
