Bus Trip A penny pincher one-day bus trip to the Longaberger Homestead in Ohio will be held March 28. Price is $70.00. trip includes transportation, breakfast on bus, snacks and drinks. Hundreds of baskets given away at the Homestead thru games and huge sales too. Proceeds go to McConnellsburg Alumni and Friends Asso. X Card Shoot Fulton County Rifle and Pistol Club is having a special X-card shoot every Friday night at 7:00 p.m. during the month of April. Eleven regular rounds for 12 and 20 gauge (we supply the ammo) and two .410 outlaw rounds (you supply the ammo). Prizes are gift certificates to Keystone Country Store. Gun bowl and kitchen open.

HAFCO Shooting Matches Hustontown Fire Co. will hold shooting matches on the following dates: March 7 - 410 shoot only; March 14 - regular shoot 16, 20, 12; March 21, regular shoot, 16, 20, 12; March 28 - 410 shoot only.

Racing Mower Build Clinic There will be a racing mower build clinic at McConnellsburg Motor & Implement Saturday, March 7, at 1:00 p.m. Aaron Crowl from ARMA will be there with several racing mowers and a lot of information. There will be at least four lawnmower races in the area this season. More information may be obtained by calling Shain Mellott at 717-658-6580.

Country Music Show There will be a country music show at the Reality Theatre in Robertsale on March 7 at 7:00 p.m. The Dively- Shawver Gospel Bluegrass Band and The Aughwick Band will be performing. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds will benefit the Coal Miners' Museum.

Practice Trap Shoots Fulton County Rifle and Pistol Club wishes to invite the public to join in or practice trap shoots every Friday night starting Good Friday, April 10, until November 20 and trap shoots at noon the third Sunday of every month from now until the end of the year.

Atlantic City Trip Hustontown Fire Co. will be sponsoring a one-day trip to Atlantic City March 28. The bus will leave the firehall at 7:00 a.m. A buffet and $22 back. Cost is $50. More information may be obtained by calling 717-987-3016.

Dodgeball Tournament A dodgeball tournament will be held March 7 at McConnellsburg Community building. Cost is $5 a player with a minimum of five players per team. Registration is at 8:00 a.m. and the tournament begins at 9:00 a.m. More information may be obtained by calling 814-599-6997.

Sight And Sound Trip Sideling Hill Parish of the United Methodist Church is sponsoring a bus trip Wednesday, April 8, to see "Behold The Lamb." The bus will depart from Knobsville United Methodist Church at 8:00 a.m. More information may be obtained by calling 717-987-3215.

Line Dance Fulton County Line Dance Club will hold line dance sessions every Wednesday (except the first Wednesday of the month) beginning at 7:00 p.m. at VFW Post 655, Poplar Street, McConnellsburg. All are welcome. Come and learn some new steps. A $2 donation is appreciated.

Hall Walking McConnellsburg SADD will be offering hall walking at McConnellsburg High School from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. If the school closes because of the weather, hall walking will be cancelled. Gym Time McConnellsburg Alumni and Friends Association will be sponsoring free gym time in the old MHS gym on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from noon to 2:00 p.m. for anyone who would like to walk, workout, play some basketball, volleyball, table tennis, etc. The gym will be open every Monday and Wednesday and follow the Central Fulton School schedule.
