Maria E. Woolford

Hancock, 90

Maria Elizabeth Woolford, 90, Hancock, Md., and a resident of Homewood at Williamsport, died Friday, February 20, 2009, at Homewood in Williamsport.

Born May 17, 1918, near Needmore, she was the daughter of the late Thomas E. and Eva M. Barnhard Wink and the widow of Lawrence W. Woolford, who died August 27, 2005.

She was retired from Londontown Corp. as a seamstress.

She was a member of Hancock United Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda D. Hull, Hagerstown; a son, Donald Lee Rector, Hagerstown; thee grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Adelsburger; and two brothers: Floyd and Werth Wink.

Services were held Monday, February 23, at 2:00 p.m., at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock. Rev. Duane L. Jensen officiated. Burial was made in Greenway Cemetery, Berkeley Springs.
