Beverly Thornton of Rockford, Ill., has donated to the Fulton County Historical Society library a notebook of 109 pages on "Descendants of Thomas and Gawn Logan."

Thomas Logan was born 1764 in County Derry, Northern Ireland, and died in McConnellsburg in 1848. His brother, Gawn, was born in County Derry in 1771 and died in McConnellsburg in 1849 but they didn't travel together to the United States.

Thorton has included extensive Endnotes documenting her research. A folder of "Logan Notes" contains photocopies of many original documents.

Thomas Logan married Keziah Coffee, who was born 1769 in Gloucester, N.J., and died in Mc- Connellsburg in 1862. Because Keziah's mother was Patience Tatem before her marriage, Beverly also donated a notebook of 121 pages on the Tatem family, plus a notebook of Tatem documents.

Her complete family tree is on Rootsweb.com, but the notebooks will be preserved in the Historical Society library for future descendants.
