Tom, Mamie and Kristi Streightiff, Kenny Watkins, John and Gayle Young, Shawn, Cody and Ella Jo Young, Katie Young and friend Darin, and Huldah and Betty Streightiff met on Saturday night at the Allensville buffet to celebrate Katie's 20th birthday.

Terri Grissinger had students participate in the FFA ACES (Agricultural Cooperation Establishes Success) conference in Harrisburg this weekend.

While at the dentist on Friday, Karen Grissinger enjoyed a visit with cousins W.R., Beth, Rachel and Matthew Barmont. Matthew is growing and cutting some teeth, while Rachel had to get her teeth checked out. Earlier in the day, Karen visited with another cousin, Philip Horne, while at a bid opening in Greencastle.

Buzz Covert and Travis Madden attended a farm sale in Martinsburg on Saturday.

Congratulations to the Southern Huntingdon girls basketball team on its win Friday night.

Visiting recently in the home of Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger were Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Brent Carlson and Travis Madden.

Several Maddensville folks made an ice cream run this weekend with the opening of the Mini Freeze in Orbisonia.
