Lisa Skiles To Run For Prothonotary

Lisa Skiles Lisa Skiles A northern Fulton County resident began gathering signatures this week in hopes of finding her name under the category of prothonotary on the May 19 spring primary election ballot.

Lisa Mellott Skiles announced her intention this week to seek the position of Fulton County prothonotary currently held by Patty Suders Fix. Citing her work-related experience at Letterkenny Army Depot as a secretary as well as 18 years experience in operating her own business, Skiles stated she has learned the importance of accuracy, precision and working with the public.

"I feel that my past and present experiences make me a good candidate," said Skiles. "I am dependable, honest and fair."

A lifelong resident of Fulton County, Skiles, along with her husband, Ted, and daughters, Hanna and Emma, currently lives in the Waterfall area.

"I feel it would be an honor to serve the community as prothonotary. I would appreciate the community's support and vote in the upcoming election," she concluded.
