Curt and Amy Patterson recently visited with Hilary Patterson at Bob Jones University in South Carolina. While there they enjoyed hearing Hilary perform a solo in a recital.

Get well wishes to Curt Patterson, who is undergoing surgery this week in Hagerstown, Md. Our prayers are with Curt and Amy throughout his surgery and recovery.

Enjoying dinner last Sunday with Buzz and Bea Covert were Travis Madden, and Tasha, Shaine and Kean Goshorn.

Walnut Grove Junior Youth Group enjoyed an outing on Saturday to the Slinky Action Zone in Duncansville. Those attending were Brian, Shelly, Noah and Wyatt Long, June, Steven, Shaine and Shawn Mills, Lynette and Brianne Fleck, Brenna, Jimmy and Levi Miller, Erin Pine, Geoffrey McClain, Rachel Barr, Alena Prue, Destinie Devlin and Duane Hardy. Everyone had a great time playing laser tag, bumper cars and tubes.

Visiting recently in the home of Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger were Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Lynn and Tyler Gensler of Shippensburg and Boyd Varner.

Buzz and Bea Covert enjoyed dinner on Wednesday evening at the Sunny Ridge Restaurant. While there they visited with John and Edith Gallaher of Hustontown and Steve and Ann Gallaher of Camp Hill.

Steve and Karen Grissinger visited with Shirley and Tim Henry on Thursday evening.

Buzz and Bea Covert and John and Mary Mumma enjoyed dinner at Gibble's Restaurant on Valentine's Day.

Roger and Pat Ramsey spent Friday in Frederick shopping, sightseeing and, of course, eating. > They enjoyed a meal at one of their favorite places, Famous Dave's BBQ, before heading home.

Walnut Grove Senior Youth Group held its annual Valentine's Day spaghetti dinner on Sunday after services. There was a great turn out (over 100) for the meal and no one went home hungry. Thank you to the senior youth group and leaders!

Terry and Trudy Fix enjoyed lunch with Roger and Pat on Monday.

Gordon and Donna Locke, Angie Roher, Dan and Robyn Gaff, Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger and Travis Madden attended a dinner in McConnellburg on Saturday evening.

Terri Grissinger and her school students took in the Sportsman Show in Harrisburg on Tuesday.

A pesticide update meeting is scheduled for February 26 at Forbes Road High School from 6 to 8 p.m.

Three Springs Fire Co. will be hosting a turkey dinner on March 22 beginning at 11 a.m.
