Southern Fulton 57,

Tussey Mountain 48

In a battle against league rivals the Tussey Mountain Titans, the Southern Fulton Indians prevailed Monday evening, winning their ninth straight game with the 57-48 victory. Brooke Whiteside netted 20 points and added five assists and three steals. Meanwhile, Lacey Beatty had 13 points for the Indians, who got eight points, 13 rebounds and five assists from Chelsey Hollenshead.

McConnellsburg 44, Hyndman 34

McConnellsburg narrowly slipped by the Hyndman Hornets in three of the four quarters Monday evening, winning the Sideling Hill League game by 10 points. Michelle Baker posted eight points, 10 rebounds and six assists, while Spartan teammate Courtney McClure added 10 points and nine rebounds.

Northern Bedford 37,

Forbes Road 24

The Forbes Road Cardinals only outscored the Northern Bedford Panthers in one quarter Monday night and fell by the final score of 37-24. During the Sideling Hill League game, Kaili Hockensmith rallied for 11 points, and Patience Whitman was the next highest scorer with six.

Everett 75, Forbes Road 36

With only one win under their belt, the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals dropped yet another game Tuesday night, easily falling to the Everett Warriors by the ending score of 75-36. Kaili Hockensmith led her Cardinal teammates with 14 points, and Raven Whitman was the next highest scorer with 10. Stephanie Worthing rounded out the league match with seven points.

Southern Fulton 69, Hyndman 23

Southern Fulton nailed eight three-point shots Tuesday evening, ousting the Hyndman Hornets by an outstanding 46 points. Lacey Beatty tallied 18 points for the Indians, and Emily Garland followed with 12. Jeni Hager dumped in eight points, and Keena Elbin added six points, 13 rebounds and a pair of blocked shots.

Chestnut Ridge 54,

McConnellsburg 37

Courtney McClure hit double figures for the McConnellsburg Spartans last Tuesday night during a 54-37 loss at the hands of Chestnut Ridge. McClure rallied for 10 points and six rebounds, and teammate Rachel Porterfield netted six points, handed out three assists and made five steals.

McConnellsburg 31

Still in the running for the Sideling Hill League champion title, Southern Fulton beat out the McConnellsburg Spartans Thursday night 45-31. Brooke Whiteside and Natasha Bard had 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Indians, while Michelle Baker totalled 10 points for McConnellsburg. Courtney McClure added eight points and eight rebounds.

Fannett-Metal 51, Forbes Road 32

Ky Fraker dumped in nine points for the Forbes Road Lady Cardinals, who lost Thursday's Sideling Hill League match to the Fannett-Metal Tigers by the score of 51-32. Raven Whitman added seven points for the Cardinals, who also received six points from Stephanie Clippinger.

Southern Fulton 60,

Bishop Walsh 22

Southern Fulton jumped out to a 22-point lead going into the halftime break and cruised onto a 60-22 non-league win over Bishop Walsh last Saturday. Brooke Whiteside, Lacey Beatty and Jeni Hager each netted 13 points, and Natasha Bard and Chelsey Hollenshead both had six points. Bard also added seven rebounds, and Hollenshead dished out five assists.

FCCCS 28, Calvary Christian 24

Josie Spade posted 17 points and yanked down 19 rebounds to aid the Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers in a four-point win over Calvary Christian last Friday. Jenae Gordon was the next highest scorer for the Chargers with eight points.
