In Memory

In memory of George B. Fagley:

Valentines For Pap Dear Bud,

You've been gone so long - seems forever. We put new flowers where you were laid. They fade and become tattered and weather worn. I guess sort of like our frail bodies become from years of life's experiences. But those experiences become nuggets of gold you imparted into our lives.

We realize now more than ever that you gave us a wealth of knowledge. You were such a big part of our lives and influential in who we are today. We will never be the same because of you and how you built strength and determination. Life's tough, but you made us strong.

You gave us so much to look back on and talk about. We gleen from it. Those remembrances keep you alive in our hearts and so do the dreams. How dreams work I'm not certain, but they seem so real. It's always good to see you again in those dreams. Your voice sounds so natural and we want to reach out and touch you, but then we awake ... and cry. It makes us so homesick, but still we are so glad to have seen you. It's as if God is sending us snapshots from heaven!

We just wanted to tell you have important you are to our lives, we miss you and we love you with a forever love.

See you again, Wife and family

In loving memory of Johnathan R. Carbaugh, 1-31-86 - 4-16-05: God looked around His garden, And saw an empty space Then He looked down here on earth And saw your loving face. He put His arms around you And lifted you to rest His garden must be beautiful Because He only picks the best. A million times we'll miss you A million times we'll cry If love could have saved you You never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, In death we love you still In our hearts you hold a special place No one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you But you did not go alone For part of us went with you The day God took you home. You will always be in our hearts Your loving family and friends

In loving memory of Joan F. Swope, Mother and Nana, who passed away February 15, 2008: You never said I'm leaving You never said goodbye You were gone before we knew it And only God knows why A million times we needed you A million times we cried If love alone could have saved you You never would have died In life we loved you dearly In death we love you still In our hearts you hold a place That no one can ever fill It broke our hearts to lose you But you didn't go alone For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
