A correction to last week's news: Amanda Yocum and Terri Grissinger were in Hershey for some medical tests for Amanda last Saturday.

A Super Bowl party was held at the home of Andy, Tasha, Shaine and Kean Goshorn of Blairs Mills. Guests included Rick Goshorn, Buzz and Bea Covert, Shawn and Amy Crouse, Fred and Sharon Horne, Bobby, Lorraine and B.J. Copenhaver, and Phillip, Paula, Bryce and Riley Snyder. (Paula was the lead cheerleader of the party). Everyone was happy to see the Steelers win the game.

Visiting recently in the home of Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger were Nora Grissinger, Brent Carlson, Travis Madden, Tom and Mamie Streightiff and Bob and Alicia Albrecht.

Becca Carlson, daughter of Brent and JoAnn Carlson, suffered a leg injury during a basketball game last week and will be taking therapy and eventually having surgery later this spring. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Tammy Grissinger took in the Sportsman Show at the Farm Show Complex on Sunday. Visiting the Sportsman Show on Monday were Chuck and Tom Streightiff, Travis Madden and Steve Grissinger.

Tom, Mamie and Chuck Streightiff were in Altoona on Saturday for some golfing practice and the best part, a stop at the Olive Garden Restaurant. On Sunday they visited with Tim Streightiff in Washington, D.C. Tim will celebrate his 26th birthday this week.

Terri Grissinger spent four days in Penn State last week for FFA Record Book Judging Competition and ServSafe Training. While in State College, she enjoyed some ice skating.

Roger and Pat Ramsey visited with Brian and Emily Ramsey of Newville on Sunday.

Pesticide update meetings for Fulton County are scheduled for February 18 at the Southern Fulton High School and February 26 at the Forbes Road High School. All meetings are scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m.

Hustontown Fire Co. will be holding shooting matches every Saturday beginning at 1 p.m.
