Police: Man Attacks Boy In Pennsylvania Classroom
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - Police and school officials are trying to figure out how two adults got into an Allentown middle school classroom, where one of them allegedly attacked a 14-year-old student.
Police say 37-year-old Willie Rivera and 21-year-old Christopher Stewart went into a second floor classroom at Raub Middle School on Tuesday, along with a boy who didn't attend the school.
Investigators say Rivera then assaulted the student and stole his necklace.
The men were later arrested and taken to Lehigh County Prison on assault and theft charges. The boy who was with them was also taken into custody.
The student was treated for bruises and other injuries.
Superintendent Karen Angello says the school is trying to figure out how the men got past school security.
