River Oaks Helpline A Christian crisis counseling/prayer phone line is now available. Caring and compassionate Christian volunteers are available from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily to listen, pray with you and help to find solutions for the challenges you are facing. Lenten Services McConnellsburg United Presbyterian Church is offering Lenten worship services every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. The church is located at the corner of South Second and Maple streets. More information may be obtained by calling 485-4400. Everyone is welcome. Soup dinners are also offered on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.

Women's Event Please join the ladies of Immanuel Bible Church for a fun and encouraging "Simply Beautiful" Women's Event on Saturday, March 28, 2009. Our day will begin at 9:00 a.m. with speaker and singer, Renée Martin, of "Renée Martin Ministries." As Renée shares her story, she will convey to us "What is the makeup of a beautiful Christian woman?" Refreshments and lunch will be provided. The event will end at approximately 6:00 p.m. There is no cost to attend this event. All ladies and girls age 11 and up are invited to attend. Childcare will be provided for children age 10 and under. Dress is casual and comfortable. Movie Night My Father's House Ministries welcomes all to join for a meal at 6:00 p.m. on Valentine's Day, February 14. Following the meal the movie "Fireproof" will be presented. Please RSVP if you are planning to attend the meal at 485-4680. All are welcome to join in for the movie at 7:00 p.m.

Family Weekend All are welcome to attend the 14th annual midwinter family weekend February 13-15 at 7:00 p.m. nightly at Dublin Mills Community Church featuring the encouraging and insightful ministry of The Family Under God Ministry of Dick and Sue Stoey. While the music, fellowship, games and challenging preaching of this weekend is designed to strengthen your family as a whole, this only happens as God teaches, changes and fortifies each person individually.
