Fulton County Historical Society held its winter meeting on January 23 in the Fulton Theatre, McConnellsburg.

President Dick Newman called a brief business meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. There were 86 in attendance. The minutes of the fall meeting were approved as published in the winter newsletter. Treasurer Dan Swain gave his report based on figures from October 16, 2008 to January 23, 2009.

President Newman announced reprints of a CCC Kellogs cookbook are on sale for $5 each. New life member Sonnie Stenger was announced. A donation basket was passed around to help defray the cost of the evening's entertainment. Vice president Monica Seville introduce Matthew Dodd from Mechanicsburg, who delivered a humorous, song-filled educational program on railroad history.
