Reed - Brown United In Marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Reed Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Reed Molly Beth Brown of Burnt Cabins and Matthew Thomas Reed of Silver Spring, Md., were united in marriage on May 10, 2008,at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Winchester, Va.

The bride is the daughter of Wilma and Steve Brown of Burnt Cabins. The groom is the son of Barbara and Donald Reed of Silver Spring, Md.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. Stanley J. Krempa. Music was provided by organist Jen Sorrenson and violinist Dr. Pat O'Boyle.

Miranda Hunsinger of Three Springs, friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Caitlyn Reed, Colombia, Md., sister in-law of the groom, and Caitrin Reed, Silver Spring, Md., sister of the groom.

The best man was Shawn McClosky, Winchester, Va., friend of the groom. Groomsmen were friend of the groom Mark Mayers, College Park, Md., and brothers of the groom Donald Reed, Columbia, Md., and Brian Reed, Silver Spring, Md. Serving as readers and ushers were Joseph Brown, Las Vegas, Nev., brother of the bride, Ben Irby, Annapolis, Md., and Bernard Cooney, New York, N.Y., friends of the groom.

Erin Foster, cousin of the groom, was the flower girl.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Millwood Station, Winchester, Va. Pre-wedding festivities included a bachelor party in Cancun, Mexico, a bridal shower tea at Shady Pine Mennonite Church, Willow Hill, and a rehearsal dinner at Piccadilly Brew Pub, Winchester, Va. The couple also enjoyed a wedding trip to Playa de Conchal, Costa Rica.

A graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High School and Allegany College, Cumberland, Md., the bride is an X-ray technologist at Winchester Medical Center and student at George Mason University, Fairfax.

The groom is employed as an air traffic controller for the FAA in Warrenton, Va.

The couple reside in Winchester, Va.
