Judges Walsh and Herman Preside Over Series Of Court Sessions

Judges Richard J. Walsh and Douglas W. Herman of the 39th Judicial District of the Court of Common Pleas presided over a series of court sessions held at the Fulton County Courthouse on December 30 and January 6.

Maloree Tomika Peck appeared with legal counsel and entered a not-guilty plea during arraignment proceedings held on charges of harassment. Peck pled not guilty. Her trial will be scheduled for the April 27 term of court.

Courtney Millhouse appeared pro-se and waived arraignment on simple assault charges. Millhouse pled guilty to assault and will be sentenced on February 3.

Tyeisha Marie Spriggs appeared with her attorney on counts of terroristic threats and resisting law enforcement authorities. Spriggs pled guilty and will be sentenced on February 24 following a pre-sentence investigation.

Spriggs also pled guilty to an unrelated incident involving disorderly conduct as well as a third episode involving unauthorized use of automobiles.

Steven John Davis appeared with his attorney for sentencing on charges of driving under the influence. Davis was ordered to spend between 12 and 60 months in a state correctional institution (SCI).

Lori Jean Shoemaker was ordered to complete 36 months in a SCI for homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.

Christopher William Fisher appeared for termination of participation in the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition (ARD) program. A written court order was issued in the matter.

Marvin Murray Kendall was admitted into ARD and will complete 12 months probation for driving under the influence.

Elizabeth Fern Souders appeared with her attorney for a hearing held on a motion to re- voke bail. A written court order has been issued.

Ty Cooper Black appeared with legal counsel and entered a guilty plea to fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer. Black will be sentenced on February 10 following a presentence investigation.

Daniel Robert Cancglin appeared with his attorney and waived arraignment proceedings on driving under the influence and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility. Cancglin pled guilty to both counts and was sentenced to time served.

Aliza Jane Clark appeared with legal counsel for driving under the influence and operating a vehicle without financial responsibility. She entered a guilty plea to both counts and will be sentenced on February 10.

Darren Lee Golden appeared with his attorney and waived arraignment proceedings held on charges of simple assault. Golden pled guilty and was sentenced to complete 24 months probation.

Crystal Dawn Kerns appeared with legal counsel on charges of simple assault and was admitted into the ARD program. She will complete 12 months probation.

Derek Charles Mentzer appeared without an attorney on charges of driving under the influence. Mentzer was admitted into the ARD program and will accordingly complete 12 months probation.

Heather Marie Shore appeared with legal counsel and pled guilty to theft by unlawful taking. She will be sentenced on February 10.

Ryan Gracey appeared with legal counsel and entered a guilty plea to five counts of the corruption of minors. A written court order was issued in the matter. Gracey also pled guilty to an unrelated incident involving possession of a controlled substance. Again, a written court order was issued.

Joshua P. Crouse appeared with his attorney and entered a guilty plea to theft and will be sentenced on February 17.
