Historical Society Program On Songs And Stories Of The Railroad
Matthew Dodd will bring railroad lore to life at a community meeting to be held Friday evening, January 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Fulton Theatre, McConnellsburg, sponsored by the Fulton County Historical Society.
With stories of famous trains, train wrecks, engineers, brakemen, famous passengers, railroad builders, railroad legends and lore, jokes and more, Dodd will take listeners on a journey through time. He will entertain with railroad songs while playing an acoustic guitar, harmonica, banjo and mandolin.
The program is free and open to the public. A freewill offering will cover Dodd's performance fee.
