Beta Sigma Phi Year-end News

Xi Eta Lambda, McConnellsburg chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, ended the year with several service projects and fun times. Donations were made to the Catholic Mission Christmas project, The Salvation Army and assistance was given wrapping Christmas gifts. A serviceman in the U.S. Navy was adopted as a special project.

A Halloween social was held at Deb Leese's. A program was presented on "alternative ways to decorate pumpkins," and each sister decorated several pumpkins to take home.

In November, an auction/ fundraiser was held at Vickie Gordon's home, with Loren Leese serving as auctioneer. Everyone had fun bidding on the many beautiful craft items.

The year ended making fresh arrangements at the Green Hill Sewing Club, wreaths at Donna Sain's and having a Christmas party at Marie Shimer's. Everyone enjoyed games, good food and remembering their Beta buddies.
