Western PA Girl, 5, Locked On School Bus Two-Plus Hours

ALIQUIPPA, Pa. (AP) - A 5- year-old western Pennsylvania girl spent at least two hours locked in a school bus before officials learned she was missing when her mother called about her missing wallet.

Ty-onie Leonard had fallen asleep on the bus on the way to her Aliquippa school Tuesday morning. She woke up, pounded on the doors and screamed, but no one heard her.

About 11 a.m., Ebony Leonard called about the wallet and officials began searching.

Anthony Battalini, the district's transportation director, found the crying child.
