Ruth E. Stotler
Born November 18, 1925, in Hancock, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Carrie A. Diehl Divelbliss and the widow of Junior F. Stotler, who died January 25, 1990.
She had been employed with Pittman's Liquors in Hancock and was formerly employed with Hoffman's Inn and Liquor Store.
She is survived by two sons: Franklin G. Stotler, Hancock; Randy A. Stotler, Hagerstown; three sisters: Mary E. Smith, Bedford; Hazel F. McCusker, Hagerstown; Shirley I. Divelbliss, Hancock; three brothers: Herbert Divelbliss, Crystal Spring; Joseph M. Divelbliss, Hagerstown; Charles A. Divelbliss, Hancock; four grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Ethel Dively, Edna Hull; three brothers: Thurman, Curtis and Harold Divelbliss; and three infants.
Services were held Friday, January 2, at 11:00 a.m., at Grove Funeral Home, Hancock. Rev. Willis Swope officiated. Burial was made in Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Cemetery, Hancock.
