Douglas Herman Sworn In As President Judge


Judge Douglas W. Herman is sworn in as president judge of the Court of Common Pleas of the 39th Judicial District on Tuesday morning in the courtroom of the Fulton County Courthouse. Judge Herman replaces retiring president Judge John R. Walker. Herman is the 15th president judge to serve Fulton County since 1851. He was administered the oath of office by District Magisterial Judges Carol J. Johnson, Wendy Mellott, Devin Horne and senior Magisterial District Judge Brenda Knepper during a ceremony organized by the Fulton County Bar Association. Judge Douglas W.
