Minor Earthquake Shakes Lancaster County
LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - More than 1,000 people called the Lancaster County 911 center after a minor earthquake shook the area.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the 3.4 magnitude quake hit early Saturday morning, a few moments after midnight. It was centered just outside Lancaster.
Many who called local newspapers or 911 thought there had been an explosion nearby, but there were no reports of injuries or severe damage.
