Baby Jesus Stolen From W. Pa. Nativity Scene

MERCER, Pa. (AP) - Baby Jesus has been stolen for the second year in a row from a manger display in the yard of a western Pennsylvania family.

Walter Mittelstadt says the figurine was stolen sometime Sunday morning from his home in Sandy Creek Township, an area in northwestern Pennsylvania not far from the Ohio border.

Mittelstadt says he's "totally ticked off'' because the same plastic Jesus figure was stolen last year and the family bought a new one to display this Christmas.

He says vandals have been messing with his Christmas display for years. Mittelstadt says they have done everything from cutting up lights to slicing balloon figures.
