Baby Jesus Stolen From W. Pa. Nativity Scene
      MERCER, Pa. (AP) - Baby Jesus has been stolen for the second year in a row from a manger display in the yard of a western Pennsylvania family. Walter Mittelstadt says the figurine was stolen sometime Sunday morning from his home in Sandy Creek Township, an area in northwestern Pennsylvania not far from the Ohio border.

Pa. Labor Board To Hear Smoking Ban Complaint
      HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - An outdoor smoking ban at Pennsylvania's 14 state-owned universities is the focus of a state labor board hearing. The State System of Higher Education's faculty union has filed an unfair labor practice complaint over the ban imposed in September by Chancellor John Cavanaugh.

Minor Earthquake Shakes Lancaster County
      LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - More than 1,000 people called the Lancaster County 911 center after a minor earthquake shook the area. The U.S. Geological Survey says the 3.4 magnitude quake hit early Saturday morning, a few moments after midnight. It was centered just outside Lancaster.
