Fischer - Adams United

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Fischer

Brooke Nichole Adams and Mark Lee Fischer were united in marriage on June 14, 2008, at Wilson College, with Rev. Meagan Boozer officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Douglas and Tamara Adams of Spring Rung, Pa., and the granddaughter of George and Bonita Bair, also of Spring Run, and the late Ray and Betty Adams of Fannettsburg.

The bridegroom is the son of Gary and Barbara Fischer of Warfordsburg and the grandson of George and Betty Fischer as well as Cora and the late Leo Clingerman, all of Warfordsburg.

The bride was given away by her father.

Nuptial music was provided by harpist Anita Rae Smith. Reception music was provided by Phantom Shadow Entertainment.

Maid of honor was Carla Frehn, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessica Kline, best friend of the bride, and Lisa Layton, sister of the groom. Zoe Layton, niece of the groom, was the flowergirl.

Best man was Reuben Layton, brother-in-law of the groom. Groomsmen were Bobby Fischer, brother of the groom, and Justin Fischer, cousin of the groom.

The reception was held in Jenson Dining Hall at Wilson College.

After a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple currently reside in Chambersburg.
