Methodist Cantata Did Steve Proud
To The Editor:
The McConnellsburg/Cito United Methodist Church cantata on Saturday, December 20, was simply outstanding. The voices blended so beautifully and "Oh What A Blessing!" To Karen Godissart: You did a wonderful job directing the cantata. I know Steve had wanted to sing with the group for this year's cantata, but unfortunately that didn't happen, but had he been there (He was there in spirit.) that would have been the perfect performance for him. He would have been swinging and swaying to the songs, and for those of you who had ever seen him direct cantatas, you know what I mean about his excitement in songs.
Steve loved music and you all certainly did him proud on Saturday night. I had a lot of emotional moments during the performance, but I was so blessed by a fantastic group of singers. Thanks to all of you for what you did to make my night so special. It will be held in my heart forever.
May God continue to bless each of you during this holiday season. Merry Christmas and remember Jesus is the reason for the season. Linda Hoover McConnellsburg
