Everett 59, McConnellsburg 32

The McConnellsburg Spartans only managed to score nine points during the second half of Monday evening's loss to the Everett Warriors. Devin Petty- John was the high scorer during the 59-32 loss with 10 points and three assists, and Jarrod Appleby had eight. Ryan Defibaugh led the defensive effort with nine boards and two steals.

Forbes Road 69,

Belleville Mennonite 43

Jesse Newman rallied for a season-high 31 points including six three-point shots in Monday evening's 69-43 win over Belleville Mennonite. Tanner Henry reached double digits with 12 points, and Brandon Mellott handed out six assists and made five steals. Trent Black was the next highest scorer for the Forbes Road Cardinals with six points and seven rebounds.

Calvary Christian Academy 30

The Fulton County Community Christian School Chargers picked up a victory in the opening round against the host of the Calvary Christian Academy Invitational tourney in Huntingdon over the weekend. Seth Gordon tallied 12 points with some impressive dribbling and scoring. In the meantime, teammates Caleb Myers and T.J. Leedy combined for 25 points.

FCCCS 54,

Dubois Christian Academy 45

The Fulton County Community Christian School faced off against Dubois Christian Academy in the championship game of the Calvary Christian Academy Invitational Tournament on December 13 and picked up a firstplace victory. During the 54-45 win, Seth Gordon scored 16 points. T.J. Leedy, however, led both teams in scoring with 24, and Kenny Lininger posted 14. Leedy and Gordon were both named to the all-tournament team.

Forbes Road 64, Hyndman 47

Forbes Road outscored Hyndman by 16 points last Friday, winning the Sideling Hill League game by the final score of 64-47. Jesse Newman rallied for 23 points and nine assists, and teammate Trent Black added 20 points and five rebounds. Aaron Carbaugh and Dylan Gelvin were the next highest scorers with eight and seven points, respectively.

Tussey Mountain 70,

McConnellsburg 48

Tussey Mountain widened its three-point lead following the halftime break and ended last Friday evening's game against McConnellsburg with a 22-point victory. During the Sideling Hill League game, Drew Wink had a career-high 14 points, while Ryan Defibaugh contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds. Jarrod Appleby finished with eight points.

Southern Fulton 43, Hancock 22

Southern Fulton reached double digits in the final three periods of Saturday's match against Hancock to secure a 43-22 victory. Luke Mellott led his Indian teammates with 11 points, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals. Josh Hall hit double figures as well with 10 points. Andrew Merica and Dylan Whiteside were the next highest scorers with five points.

Forbes Road 52,

Tussey Mountain 50

Three Forbes Road Cardinals hit double digits Tuesday night in a nail-biter against rivals the Tussey Mountain Titans. During the narrow 52-50 win over the Titans, Trent Black tallied 16 points to lead the Cardinals, who received 15 points and eight assists from Jesse Newman. Brandon Mellott added 11 points, while Tanner Henry finished with eight points, six blocked shots and nine rebounds.

Southern Fulton 68,

Chestnut Ridge 56

Southern Fulton had a strong second and fourth quarter scoring more than 20 points in a 68- 56 win over Chestnut Ridge last Tuesday. Andrew Merica totalled 19 points, and teammate Derek Younker had 12 points. Luke Mellott and Josh Hall both racked up 11 points. Hall also had two blocked shots, while Mellott added nine rebounds.

FCCCS 48, Calvary Christian 32

Fulton County Community Christian School picked up its first win at home last Monday downing Calvary Christian Academy by the final score of 48-32. Seth Gordon led the Chargers with 24 points during the victory at the Needmore Bible Church gymnasium. T.J. Leedy also hit double digits with 12 points.
