Gerald S. Klock

Gerald Stanley LaVerne Klock, 77, Chambersburg, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008, in Chambersburg Hospital.

Born September 7, 1931, in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Paul J. Klock and Regina Garland.

He worked at T.B. Woods Co. in the foundry and the pattern shop. He was a member of the American Legion in Camp Hill. He enjoyed camping and reading science fiction books as well as collecting trains and watching train movies.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Harrisonville.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Lois, whom he married April 9, 1953; a daughter, Robin Leedy (Brad), Chambersburg; and two grandchildren: Justin Leedy (Brandi) and Morgan Leedy.

He was preceded in death by his son, Darryl L. Klock.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, at Asbury United Methodist Church, Harrisonville. Rev. Matt Robinson officiated. Interment was private.
