Nancy Kerlin fell in her home recently, dislocating her shoulder. Her husband "Bushy" is now helping with her shopping trips. Keep up the good work, Bushy.

Michelle Baker was Public Opinion female athlete of the week. Michelle is a guard for the McConnellsburg Spartans basketball team and a senior. She is the daughter of Charlie and Jonna Baker.

Enjoying a overnight bus trip to see the festive lights in Ocean City, Md., and a visit to Dover Downs, recently were Elsie Sipes, Pat Cutchall, Lana Bard and Dave McElhaney.

The descendants of the late Ted and Irene Hall held their annual Christmas dinner on Sunday in the Needmore Bible Church social room with around 80 attending.

Fulton County Medical Center residents had their Christmas party on Sunday. Helping Santa Claus hand out the presents were the SADD students, chaperoned by Kathy Kendall.

Public Opinion weekly honor roll students were Ryan defibaugh, Courtney McClure, Mc- Connellsburg; Chelsy Hollenshead, Luke Mellott, Southern Fulton and Jesse Newman, Forbes Road, all for basketball.

Thirty-two students of the McConnellsburg fifth grade presented a Christmas concert last Wednesday night under the direction of Mrs. Cathy Richards and Mrs. Amy Connor. The children did a great job.

The Eagles Club of Harrisonville held its children's Christmas party on Saturday with Santa Claus handing out goodies.

Palmer's Construction Co. held its annual Christmas party in the McConnellsburg Firehall on Saturday night.

Tom and Delores Christian and George and Mary Truax enjoyed touring Cape May, N.J., and taking in a Christmas show in Atlantic City last week.

The children and adults both will miss seeing Mr. and Mrs. Santa and their Christmas lights on old Route 30 this year. Hopefully, Mr. Santa's health is improving.

The Re-Creation from Port Treverton, Pa., presented "An Evening of Christmas," on Sunday night, in Cito Methodit church with a packed hosue and the program was enjoyed very much by ll.
