Marion N. Frey

Marion N. Frey, age 83, Mc- Connellsburg, died Sunday, December 7, 2008, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born Marion Ella Nesbitt, on June 27, 1925, in Mc- Connellsburg, to the late Thurman E. and Constance S. Nesbitt.

She married William F.C. Frey of Philadelphia in 1948. She graduated from McConnellsburg High School in 1941 and in 1945 graduated from Gettysburg College with a B.A. in English and education. From 1950-1951, she studied at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a permanent teaching certificate. As well as being an ordained minister, she started a Bible teaching ministry in 1965, and in 1985 she began a teaching ministry with audio tapes and books reaching across the nation and the world.

She is survived by her husband, William F.C. Frey, Mc- Connellsburg; two sons: William H.T. (husband of Kathleen) Frey of Grand Junction, Colo., and Craig D. (husband of Denise J.) Frey of Huntingdon Valley, Pa.; five grandchildren: William F.K. (husband of Robynn) Frey and their four children: Rachel, Ruth, Danielle and Ashlynn, Melody L., Andrew J., Jesse D. and Jason E.; and one brother, C. William (husband of Arlene) Nesbitt of Mc- Connellsburg, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman E.and Constance Nesbitt, and brother Thurman E. Nesbitt Jr.

A celebration service will be held 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2008, at Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Home, McConnellsburg, with visitation starting at 5:30 p.m.. A funeral service will be held noon, Thursday, December 11, 2008, at the Evangelical Fellowship Chapel in Huntingdon Valley, Pa., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Rosyln, Pa.

Kelso-Cornelius Funeral Homes, 322 North Second Street, McConnellsburg, Pa., will be handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.kelso-corneliusfuneralhome. com.
