SF To Present Christmas Cantata

Senior High Chorus Senior High Chorus Southern Fulton High School Vocal Music Department will present its Christmas concert to the public on Sunday, December 7, at 3:00 p.m., in the high school auditorium.

The concert will feature the performance of "When Love Came Down," a Christmas cantata blending traditional and contemporary seasonal music.

The cantata will be performed by a 170-member choir combining 98 students in senior high chorus, junior high chorus, women's chorus, men's chorus and the S.F.H.S. Ensemble and 72 adult community chorus members under the direction of Dan Meredith.

Women's chorus will be featured in the contemporary song "When Love Came Down." The well-known song "Jesus Loves Me" will feature junior high chorus. Men's chorus will be featured in the David Meece classic "We Are the Reason." Soloists for the performance will be Elaina Truax, Megan Deneen, Daniel Wolfe, Chelsey Hollenshead, Elizabeth Hartman, Emmaline Crouse, Brian Stanley, Carissa Gordon and Morgan Strait. Elizabeth Hartman, Rebekah Morgan, Emily Garland, Kacie Hensley, Chelsey Hollenshead, Megan Deneen and Daniel Wolfe will be narrators.

High Chorus High Chorus Admission to the concert will be $3 for adults and $2 for students. Proceeds benefit the choral activity fund. The pubJunior lic is invited to attend.
