Gordon and Donna Locke attended a Thomas Kinkade showing in Mechanicsburg on Thursday.

Deepest sympathy and prayers are extended to John Puskarich, physical therapist in Orbisonia, and his family. John's father passed away Sunday morning at his home in Pittsburgh. Services will be held in Bentleyville, Pa. Cards can be sent to John Puskarich and family, 220 Winding Knoll Road, Altoona, PA 16602.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Chuck Streightiff and J.R. and Kim Watkin attended the Billy Joel presentation, "Movin Out" on Thursday evening at Ship- pensburg University.

Tammy Grissinger and Steve, Pam, Amanda and Nicholas Yocum attended Bull Ride Mania at the PA Farm Show building on Saturday evening. Also attending from this area were Fred and Sue Fleming, Slick and Danny Fleming, and Ashley, Bow and Macey Ramsey.

Terri Grissinger, Nichole Week and Kelsey Dysard attended the Powder Puff football game at Huntingdon on Sunday to watch classmate Danielle Riley in action.

The "One Heavenly Day" care event at Immanuel Bible Church was well attended. The kids had a great day. Thanks to everyone who helped out by staying to assist with the activities, those who cleaned up after Karen and the activities, and those who supplied snacks. Give me a week or two before you ask me if we'll do it again; I'm sure my answer will change with time.

Steve and Karen Grissinger, Tom and Mamie Streightiff and Chuck Streightiff enjoyed lunch on Sunday at Applebees in Chambersburg. Later the group enjoyed some shopping.

Visiting in the home of Steve, Karen, Terri and Tammy Grissinger this week were Travis Madden, Tom and Mamie Streightiff, Buzz and Bea Covert, Brent Carlson, Mike, Patty, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi, Maddison Wible, and Phil and Jordan Speck.

Walnut Grove junior and senior youth groups are currently holding a non-perishable food drive through November 30 with the items being donated to the local food bank.

Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor shooting matches every Saturday until further notice beginning at 1 p.m.
