Karen M. Gerholt
Karen Marie (Lemin) Gerholt, 24, Hopewell, died Sunday, November 9, 2008, at Everett.
Sh was born June 4, 1984, in Harrisburg, the daughter of Walter Dean Lemin of Hopewell and Carolyn (Brown) McConaughey of James Creek. Along with her parents, also surviving are her father's wife, Bess, and her mother's husband, Mike.
She is survived by two sons: Damon Lee Lemin and Dalton Gerholt, and a daughter, Kensley Renee Gerholt, all of Hopewell; her grandparents, Alma Messerman, Everett; Mavion Moffat, Wells Tannery; Fred Brown, James Creek; and Edith Sleaman, Hopewell; three brothers and a sister: Walter Dean "Dean-O" Lemin Jr. and wife Sherry, Everett; Josh Leasock and Shawn Leasock, both of Hopewell; and Victoria Anne Lemin, Seward; nieces: Lily Ann Lemin and Madison Rose Lemin, both of Seward; and Ava Lou Lemin, Everett; and a nephew: John "J.J." Kibe III, James Creek.
She attended Tussey Mountain High School. She was employed at McDonald's at Bedford Square, Everett. Her family will remember her as a loving and devoted mother to her children because they were all the world to her.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 14, at Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home, Broad top City. Pastor Stanley Cordell officiated. Burial was made in Grandview Cemetery, Saxton.
