Pets Enjoy Strutting Their Stuff
Murphy's Total Pet Connection celebrated the holiday with its rendition of a Halloween pet parade on Saturday, October 25. That's right, Halloween is just not for kids anymore. Now the dogs are getting involved in dressing up in creative costumes. More than 20 dogs competed for prizes in categories such as most original, prettiest, scariest and most unusual. They all strutted their stuff in front of three judges in hopes of winning one of many prizes. But what they really wanted was to get their funny looking costumes off and eat the homemade Halloween cookies they received from owner Tina Reeder.
The party was a big success and will be the first of many to come at Murphy's. The dogs really enjoyed sniffing, licking, barking and most of all laughing at their new friends' costumes. On the other hand, their owners enjoyed bragging nd sharing stories about their special pet while sipping cider with all the other pet lovers.
Murphy's Total Pet connection just celebrated its one year anniversary as McConnellsburg's "one stop pet shop."
