Cards Of Thanks

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their many acts of kindness since I fell and broke my ankle.

Thank you to the McConnellsburg Volunteer Ambulance Service for their professionalism and friendliness in transporting me from my home to Chambersburg so quickly and carefully. Thank you to the Chambersburg emergency room staff as well as the nurses and doctors at Chambersburg Hospital. Also, thanks to my friends, neighbors and family for the many phone calls, visits, flowers, cards, and food.

An extra special thank-you goes to Iva Swindell for running all those errands and getting me to my doctor appointments, and to my neighbor, Donald Daniels for checking on me and getting my mail. It is nice to know so many people are caring and kind these days.

Thanks to family and friends who helped us celebrate our 40th anniversary.

Special thanks to those who made it possible.

Thank you to the Waterfall FFFF Committee. You did a great job as usual and with all your worries it turned out to be the best yet. We appreciate all your work and sweating it out. It's like "old home week" and just great to see and visit with friends and neighbors.

I also want to thank those who made our fashion show outstanding. It takes time and looking to find the perfect outfit, but we have it and worth all your effort. I hope some of the rest of you will start looking now and by next year we'll have the best ever.

Also, thanks so much to all of you who help keep Second Time going. Those who work to keep things neat, those who bring your treasures to us, those who shop. We are here to help all of you. Our hours are Tuesday and Thursday, noon until 3 p.m., Saturday noon until 2 p.m. Come on in and bring a friend you'll be surprised what you may find. Thanks again, all of you and God Bless!

Gaynelle Rosenberry and family would like to thank all of their friends and neighbors for all the prayers, meals, cards, calls and visits during her recovery.

A special thank-you for the good nursing-care workers from Fulton County Medical Center and Home Care as well as Dr. William Milroth and staff.

We appreciate everything everyone of you did to make recovery easier.
