We just can't complain about this beautiful fall weather and how beautiful those leaves are. Mother Nature sure paints a beautiful picture if we just take time to enjoy it.

Our sympathy is extended to the family and relatives of Richard Clusman, who passed away last week.

Sorry to hear Joan Shephard is not doing so well, so we send our prayers out for her.

Harvey, Pat and Kate Berkstresser spent Saturday at a birthday party at Houtzdale in honor of Pat's sister, Helen.

By the time this has gone to press, I hope everyone took the time out to go and do your duty to vote. A lot of folks don't think it is important, but it is our duty to help put people of our choice in office or at least give a try.

Some folks of our area are enjoying a hunting trip to Nebraska. By next week we hope they have had some luck.

it was good to see a nice crowd at Knobsville United Methodist Church on Sunday.

Household hint: Wrapping for storage. Commercially wrapped poultry or meat can be kept in the refrigerator for one or two days, but for longer keeping, remove store wrap and rewrap loosely but securely sealed. The rewrapping is more sanitary due to not being handled as much.
