Duvall - Summers United

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Duvall Mr. and Mrs. Michael Duvall Michael C. Duvall and Ashley L. Summers were united in marriage on August 30, 2008, at New Grenada Church of God. Pastor Ken Cornelius officiated.

The groom is the son of William and Debra Duvall of Robertsdale and the grandson of May and the late Earl Harding of Hopewell and the late Clarence and June Duvall of Robertsdale.

Ashley is the daughter of Harry and Beth Summers of Waterfall. She is the granddaughter of Lois and the late Jack Clark of Hustontown; Mary and the late Jack Summers of Hustontown; and Harry Dunkle, Spring Run.

The best man was Brian Strait, brother-in-law of the groom. Groomsmen were Carlisle Clark, cousin of the bride, and Hunter Kline, nephew of the groom. The ringbearer was Chase Donelson, nephew of the groom.

The bride wore a satin gown with intricate embroidery, accented with pearls, and carried a bouquet of purple calla liles. She was given in marriage by her parents.

Maid of honor was Falon Clark, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Connie Strait, sister of the groom, and Tia Fix, cousin of the bride. Flowergirls were Jaylyn and Cheyenne Strait, nieces of the groom. The guestbook attendant was Cree Fix, cousin of the bride. Soloist for the ceremony was Melissa Wilson.

A beautiful outdoor reception followed the ceremony at the home of the bride's grandmother.

Michael is a 1997 graduate of Tussey Mountain High School and is employed by K.W. Reese Inc.

Ashley is a 2003 graduate of Forbes Road High School, a 2007 graduate of Juniata College and is employed by Letterkenny Army Depot.

The couple reside in their home in Hustontown.
