Thelma M. Brown
Thelma M. Brown, 64, Kenhorst, Pa., died Monday, October 20, 2008, at 10:49 p.m., in Reading Hospital.
She was the wife of Richard A. Brown. They celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary September 10.
Born in Needmore, she was a daughter of the late Roosevelt and Margaret (Harmon) Layton.
She worked as a waitress at the former Howard Johnsons on the PA Turnpike and last as a cashier at the former Two Guys, Shillington.
She was a graduate of Southern Fulton High School.
She collected Fenton glass and adored her grandson.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Donna J. Brown, companion of Kirk T. Robinson, Mohnton; and Dawn M., wife of Mike J. Haage, Kenhorst; a sister, Faye Drieblis, Fulton County; and her grandson, Nathan A. Brown.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Williams.
Funeral services will be held from Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services, One East Lancaster Ave., Shillington, on Friday, October 24 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Sherry Lantz will officiate. Burial will be made in Christ Yocom's Cemetery. The viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
