Spied enjoying a beautiful day in Belleville on Wednesday were Fred and Sharon Horne, Esther Grissinger and great-grandchildren, Larry Grissinger, and Jim and Barb Barlow.

Tom and Mamie Streightiff attended a 30th birthday party for Chuckie Streightiff last Saturday evening near Huntingdon.

Visiting in the home of Steve and Karen Grissinger this week were Ben Morden, Bob Hoffman, James Locke, Travis Madden, Brent and Becca Carlson, and Tom and Mamie Streightiff.

Visitors on Saturday were Bob, Alicia and Hunter Albrecht, Gary Mitchell, Maddison Wible, Glenn Winegardner of Fort Littleton and Glenn Winegardner of Gaithersburg, Md., and Mike, Chris and Kevin Pintozzi and Marty Sinkiewicz of Langhorne.

The Pintozzi boys and their aunt, Linda Barnes, encountered a bear on Saturday evening near their camp.

Karen Grissinger and Mamie Streightiff visited with Clyde and Peggy Faith of Clear Spring, Md., on Monday evening.

Tammy Grissinger and Maddison Wible visited the Chambersburg Apple Festivities on Saturday afternoon.

The Clear Ridge ladies and gents will be having a soup and pie sale on October 30 beginning at 4 p.m.

Hustontown Area Volunteer Fire Co. will sponsor shooting matches starting Saturday, November 1, at 1 p.m. More details will be added at a later date.
