David King To Appear Recording artist/evangelist David King will be appearing at Trinity United Church of Christ in Fort Loudon on Sunday, November 2, at the 10:00 a.m. worship service. David has been appearing at area churches, drawing large crowds with his music, sounds of inspiration with some of the most heart-touching songs in Southern gospel, contemporary and traditional Christian music and his message. All are welcome to attend the service. The church is located at 13189 Main Street in Fort Loudon.

Revival Knobsville Church of the Brethren will be hosting revival services November 2-5 (Sunday through Wednesday). The evangelist is Harry Strite from Stone Bridge Church of the Brethren. There will be special music nightly. Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m.; Sunday morning worship services at 10:30 a.m. and evening services at 7:00 p.m. A fellowship meal will be held at noon Sunday, November 2. All are welcome. Reformation Celebration Grace Christian Fellowship in Hancock is hosting a reformation celebration October 31 to November 2. Event includes a piebaking contest, chili cookoff and free community lunch on Saturday, November 1. Additional activities will highlight the significance of the Reformation begun 500 yeas ago. Special Singing "The Country Christians" musical group will be presenting a performance on Sunday, November 2, at Fairview United Methodist Church, at 7:00 p.m. The church is located four miles north of Hustontown on North Hess Road. Light refreshments will be served following the program. All are welcome.
