Girls Volleyball

McConnellsburg 3, Southern Fulton 0 McConnellsburg swept its county rivals, the Southern Fulton Indians, in three straight games last Thursday, with Lady Spartan Brittany Ott handing out 31 assists and 10 digs. A'Leese Dickerson totalled 11 kills, and Michelle Baker rallied for 17 digs and six kills. Emily Watkins added five kills, and Lisa DeShong contributed 15 digs. Ashley Wigfield led the Indians with three blocks and three kills, while Natasha Bard added three kills and three service points. Jeni Hager finished with 16 digs.

McConnellsburg 3, Hyndman 1

Hyndman's game-three comeback wasn't enough for the Hornets to prevail over the McConnellsburg Lady Spartans last Tuesday. During the Spartans' 3-1 league win, A'Leese Dickerson managed 17 kills, five blocks and six aces. Megan Eichelberger posted 15 digs and six aces, while Brittany Ott added 33 assists. Lisa DeShong recorded 16 digs, and Michelle Baker finished with 14 digs and six kills.

Northern Bedford 3,

Southern Fulton 1

Southern Fulton jumped out to a quick victory in game one, but fell in the following three games to the Northern Bedford Panthers. During the Indians' fifth consecutive loss, Alexis Knisely tallied 19 service points. Jenna Ritz and Jeni Hager had 12 assists and six digs, respectively. Natasha Bard contributed five kills.

Southern Fulton 3, Hancock 0

Southern Fulton's six-game losing streak came to a halt Monday night when the Lady Indians trounced Hancock 3-0. Natalie Keebaugh racked up 16 service points for the Indians, while Cierra Covalt dished out 11 assists. Ashley Wigfield and teammate Jeni Hager both had six digs, and Natasha Bard contributed six kills.
