Tobacco Found In School
A 13-year-old male student enrolled in the eighth grade at the Central Fulton School District was caught chewing snuff while in class on Wednesday, October 8, at 12:58 p.m. It was later determined the student attempted to throw away half a can of snuff when confronted by his teachers. Charges against the teen are pending through the office of Magisterial District Judge Wendy Mellott.
In addition, a 14-year-old seventh grade student was found in possession of a Marlboro light cigarette while on the property of the Central Fulton School District last Wednesday at 12:58 p.m. Charges against the male student are also pending through Judge Mellott's office.
