McConnellsburg Man Caught Stealing Gas

A McConnellsburg man was one of two individuals recently caught siphoning gasoline from a van owned by the Community Chapel Church of Hesston. Huntingdon state police reported 20-year-old McConnellsburg resident Devin Rock Jr. and David Johnson, 20, of Huntingdon, were apprehended on Saturday, October 4, at 3:25 a.m. in the church's Penn Township parking lot.

Police added in order for the gasoline to be removed, the fuel lines were cut. Total damage to the van is under $500. Both men were charged with theft from a motor vehicle and criminal mischief through the office of Magisterial District Judge Richard Wilt.
