Wells Tannery

By Stacey Mellott

This is the time of year that I enjoy the most; I love the cool weather, the changing leaves, and all

of the fall festivities. Everyone in the area seems to be preparing for fall, and looking forward to the upcoming festivities this week.

Fiddle Johnson and Winnie re- cently went on a Bollman bus trip with the Fulton County Scottish Rights Club. They traveled to Savannah, Ga., and toured two islands off the coast of Georgia.

Get well wishes to Krista Black, wife of Kenneth Black of Waterfall. She recently had knee surgery. Get well wishes to Helen Foreman who is currently in the hospital.

My father Rocky Souders spent most of last week in Fulton County Medical center. He is home and feeling better. Greg Shaffer as well recently spent some time in the hospital with pneumonia.

Happy birthday to my stepdaughter, Abigail Mellott, on October 14. She celebrated her seventh birthday this past weekend, with cake and presents at her Grandma Tammy's and Pappy Rocky's. Belated birthday wishes to Arnold Hann, who celebrated his birthday on October 12.

My brother-in-law, Christopher Mellott, will be visiting this week from Phoenix, Ariz., to see family and take part in the county festivities. On that note, I would like to congratulate Chris who just informed us last week that he and his wife, Melissa, are expecting a baby.
